Qualifications & Skills

• 3+ years of commercial work experience in software testing
• Experience and deep awareness in functional testing
• Strong understanding of QA/QC
• Experience in testing backend systems (Services, APIs)
• Strong experience in writing documentation for manual functional test cases
• Understanding of Agile principles Good understanding of testing techniques, tools, and methodologies
• Experience in Azure Cloud is a solid plus
• Experience in working with Vue.js and Node.js is a solid plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Upper-Intermediate English (written and spoken)

Job Summary

We are looking for Manual QA engineer who is passionate about delivering high quality product. We develop a portfolio of cloud platforms and services for one of our corporate clients. In your first project you will focus on API Management Platform delivered as a Service (written in Node.js+Vue.js). The core component of the platform is an automation framework transforming out of the box product into the self-service. The right candidate will help us to improve overall quality of the platform

Responsibilities & Duties

• Obtain comprehensive knowledge about API Management platform (backend and frontend)
• Drive functional testing process with the client, establish procedures and clearly communicate them to the client
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Create and maintain documentation of test cases
• Participate in estimation, grooming and other agile ceremonies
• Perform regression/smoke testing before releases
• Test all aspects of the product/system
• Regular communication with client(s), gathering feedback, detecting business and technology opportunities, provide accurate estimates and meet commitments
• Regular and structured reporting to the management team
